Our courier services
Every service we offer runs on the same basis: a dedicated van and driver for your consignment, collected and delivered anywhere in mainland UK, 24 hours a day. What changes is the timing, the vehicle and the way the job is planned.
- Dedicated vehicles, no depot sorting
- Small vans to Lutons and refrigerated vans
- Signed proof of delivery on every job
How to choose the right service
Start with the deadline, then think about the goods. Most jobs fall into one of the situations below. If yours doesn't, or it fits more than one, tell us what you're moving and when it has to arrive, and we'll suggest the best way to run it.
| Your situation | Service to look at |
|---|---|
| It has to go now and arrive today | Urgent courier |
| It must stay with one driver, or something comes back | Dedicated courier |
| A parcel that's too long, heavy or late for a network | Same day parcel delivery |
| Contracts, tenders, passports or court papers | Document courier |
| It must be there first thing tomorrow | Overnight courier |
| The same route every day or week | Scheduled courier |
| Several deliveries on one route | Multi-drop courier |
| Pallets that can't wait for a pallet network | Pallet delivery |
| Chilled food, medicines or samples | Refrigerated courier |
| Goods going to an EU address by road | European courier |
Vehicle size is the other half of the decision. You pay for the van, not the space you use, so the smallest vehicle that fits safely is usually the cheapest. Our van size guide gives typical load space and payload for each van, from a small van to a Luton with a tail lift. To see what happens from booking to signature, read how it works.

What we don't carry
We don't carry hazardous goods under ADR, animals or vehicles, and we don't offer household removals, crane or HIAB loading, or cash-in-transit and armed security work. Each needs specialist licences, vehicles or equipment that we don't operate. In more detail:
- Hazardous goods under ADR, such as flammable liquids, gas cylinders, corrosives or loose lithium batteries.
- Animals, including pets and livestock.
- Vehicles, such as cars, motorbikes or plant.
- Household removals, crane or HIAB loading, and cash-in-transit or armed security work.
If you aren't sure whether an item falls into one of these groups, describe it when you ask for a quote and we'll give you a straight answer.
Europe and further afield
We run dedicated road services from the UK into Europe, with the same one-van, one-driver approach we use at home. Since Brexit, goods going to the EU need export and import customs formalities, so allow time for the paperwork; our guide to sending goods to Europe by road explains what's involved. For destinations beyond Europe, we arrange international deliveries on request through partner carriers.
FAQ
Common questions
I'm not sure which service I need. Does it matter which one I book?
Not much. The service names describe the most common types of job, but you don't need to pick one before you contact us. Tell us what's going, where from and to, and when it needs to arrive. We'll suggest the vehicle and the way to run it, and give you a fixed price before anything is collected.
What's the difference between urgent and dedicated?
Every job we run is dedicated: one vehicle, one driver, direct to the address. Urgent describes the timing, when something has to go now and arrive as soon as the drive allows. A dedicated booking might be urgent, or it might be planned days ahead for a specific time. The vehicle and the handling are the same either way.
Is a same day courier always the most expensive option?
Compared with a parcel network for an ordinary boxed parcel, usually yes, because you're paying for a whole vehicle and driver. For bulky, heavy, fragile or time-critical goods the comparison changes, since networks surcharge or refuse those items. A next-day or early-morning delivery from us can also cost less than an urgent same-day run if the timing allows.
Can one booking combine services, such as a pallet and a return leg?
Yes. A single job can include a pallet collection, a second drop and a wait and return leg, for example. Describe the whole job when you ask for a quote, and we'll price it as one booking rather than several. For routes you run every week, a business account makes booking quicker.
Which areas fall outside your standard coverage?
Our standard coverage is mainland UK: England, Scotland and Wales, collecting from and delivering to any address. Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands aren't part of our standard service, because ferry crossings change the timings and the planning. If you need a delivery to one of them, ask us and we'll tell you what's possible.
