Courier services for your industry
The same dedicated van can carry a lab sample, a court bundle or a gearbox, but each needs handling in a different way. Choose your sector to see how we plan around it.
Why your sector changes the job
Your sector changes what can go wrong on a job, and so what the driver and our planners pay attention to. The service itself is the same for everyone: a dedicated vehicle going directly from collection to delivery, 24 hours a day, with signed proof of delivery at the end.
A dental lab cares about a sealed, upright box arriving before the practice opens. A film unit cares about kit reaching a location before the crew is called. A manufacturer cares about the cost of every hour a line stands idle.
| Sector | Typical consignments | What matters most |
|---|---|---|
| Medical and pharmaceutical | specimens, medicines, clinical trial supplies, equipment | correct packaging, temperature, signed chain of custody |
| Legal and financial | contracts, court bundles, deeds, tenders, year-end papers | named recipient, fixed deadlines, confidentiality |
| Manufacturing and engineering | machine parts, tooling, prototypes, components | speed to a stopped line, secure loading of heavy parts |
| Automotive | engines, gearboxes, panels, wheels and tyres | protection of awkward shapes, workshop opening times |
| Construction | tools, fixings, plans, site materials | site access, delivery windows, a named contact on site |
| Retail and ecommerce | stock transfers, urgent orders, display items | store delivery slots, multi-drop routes |
| Events and exhibitions | stand kit, AV equipment, samples, print | venue booking slots, timed build and breakdown |
| Film and TV production | camera and lighting kit, props, costumes | location timings, early calls, careful handling |

Not listed here?
These pages cover the sectors we hear from most often, but plenty of our work comes from elsewhere: universities, architects, charities, galleries, hospitality and many more. If you can describe the consignment, the route and the deadline, we can plan it. Read our services overview to see what we offer, or ask for a quote and tell us what you need moved.
FAQ
Common questions
My sector isn't listed. Can you still help?
Almost certainly. The pages here cover the sectors we hear from most often, not the limit of what we carry. If your goods fit in a van and are not on our list of excluded items, such as hazardous goods, we can usually quote. Tell us what the consignment is, where it is going and what matters most about the delivery.
Do you work to our own handling procedures?
Yes. Many businesses, particularly in healthcare, law and manufacturing, have written procedures for how goods must be collected, handled and handed over. Send them with your booking or when you open an account, and the driver will follow them, from who may sign at delivery to what to do if the recipient is unavailable.
Can we set up regular runs for our business?
Yes. If you send on the same routes every day or week, a scheduled courier arrangement means the vehicle arrives at agreed times without you booking each job. Approved businesses can also open a business account with invoicing, so jobs can be booked against your own references.
