Same day courier in Wrexham and the Welsh border
A dedicated van collects in Wrexham and drives directly to your delivery address, whether that is a factory on the industrial estate, a supermarket buyer in England or a hospital department in Liverpool.

- Wales and England on one road

Production work on one of Europe's largest estates
Wrexham Industrial Estate, on the eastern side of the city, began life as a wartime munitions site and is now one of the largest industrial estates in Europe. Kellogg's makes cereal there, JCB builds transmissions, and food, packaging, pharmaceutical and engineering manufacturers fill the units around them. Wrexham Technology Park, on the west of the city near the A483, adds offices, laboratories and light industry.
Most urgent work from these sites follows the same pattern. A machine stops or a batch fails, and the replacement part, the packaging film or the raw material has to arrive before the next shift starts. Our manufacturing and engineering courier service is built for that: one van, one consignment, straight to goods-in.
What a factory gatehouse will ask the driver
- The purchase order or delivery reference
- The name of the person receiving, and their extension
- Which gate, door or bay to use
- Any PPE or induction rule for visiting drivers
Food and chilled consignments
Food manufacturing is a large part of Wrexham's economy, and it produces a particular kind of urgent job. A buyer wants samples at a head office in Manchester or Leeds tomorrow morning, a production trial needs ingredients that missed the network, or a customer complaint means product has to be returned for testing.
Chilled food travels on a refrigerated courier van, with the temperature range agreed at booking; typical chilled ranges are 2–8 °C. Tell us the product, the number of cases and whether it is chilled or frozen, and have it packed and labelled before the van arrives.
Hospital, university and city centre
Wrexham Maelor Hospital, off Croesnewydd Road, is the main hospital in north-east Wales, and Wrexham University occupies its Plas Coch campus beside the Racecourse. Pathology samples, medicines and equipment move between the Maelor and hospitals in Chester, Liverpool and Glan Clwyd; samples must be packaged correctly by the sender before collection.
The city centre is compact, and many offices and shops are in streets with loading restrictions. A loading bay, a rear entrance or a named parking spot saves the driver circling, so tell us about it when you book.
The A483, the border and the A55
The A483 is Wrexham's spine. Northbound, it reaches Chester and the A55 in about 12 miles, giving fast access to the M53, M56 and Deeside. Southbound, it runs to Oswestry and the A5 for Shrewsbury, Telford and the M54. Peak traffic builds on the A483 junctions around the city and at the interchange with the A55 just south of Chester.
Inside Wrexham itself, many residential and town streets have a 20 mph limit under the Welsh default introduced in 2023, though some have since gone back to 30 mph. It slows the last mile slightly but rarely affects a deadline. For a collection that cannot wait, our urgent courier service sends the nearest suitable vehicle, with an estimated collection time confirmed when you book.

FAQ
Common questions
Is it better to route Wrexham to Birmingham via the A5 or via Chester and the M6?
It depends on the time and the delivery address. The direct route south uses the A483 to Oswestry, then the A5 and M54, roughly 75 miles, and suits deliveries in the Black Country and the west of Birmingham. Going north via Chester and the M56 to the M6 is longer but can be steadier when the A5 is busy. We choose the route on the day and keep you updated.
Will a Racecourse matchday affect a collection near Mold Road?
It can. On match days the roads around the Racecourse Ground, Mold Road and the town centre fill up well before kick-off and again after the final whistle. Tell us if your premises are nearby and when the match is, and we will plan the collection or delivery around the busiest period rather than arrive in the middle of it.
Can documents from a Wrexham solicitor reach the Mold Justice Centre the same morning?
Usually, yes. Mold is about 12 miles north-west of Wrexham via the A541, so a prompt collection can arrive well before a mid-morning hearing. Give us the court, the hearing time and the person or office receiving the bundle. The driver goes directly with no other stops, and you get the recipient's name and the time on the proof of delivery.
Do you cover Llangollen, Ruabon, Gresford and the rest of Wrexham county borough?
Yes. Every town and village in the county borough is covered, from Chirk and Overton to Llangollen and the Ceiriog valley, together with the rest of mainland UK. Rural addresses in the hills take longer to reach, so mention farm tracks, narrow lanes or a gated yard when you book, and the driver can plan the final approach.
