Big sheds at Logistics North and Wingates
Logistics North, beside junction 4 near Over Hulton, is one of the largest logistics developments in Greater Manchester, with distribution centres and manufacturing units. Wingates, nearby at Westhoughton, mixes warehousing with trade and industrial businesses.
The same-day work these sites produce is mostly about recovering a missed connection. We missed the network collection at our Logistics North unit. Can you still get the pallets to a customer today?
In most cases, yes. Logistics North sits beside M61 junction 4, so a van is on the motorway as soon as it is loaded. Tell us the pallet count, the weight of each pallet and whether there is a dock or forklift at both ends. If the receiving site books deliveries by slot, send us the reference and slot time so the driver arrives inside the window rather than queuing outside it.
Can one van restock several of our Greater Manchester shops in a single run?
Yes. We can book a multi-drop run, where one van collects from your Bolton stockroom or warehouse and delivers to each shop in an agreed order. Give us the addresses, what goes to each and any delivery restrictions, such as loading bays that are only usable before 10.00 am. Each drop is signed for separately, so you have a proof of delivery for every shop.
