Harlow courier on the M11 corridor
Harlow sits between London, Stansted and Cambridge on the M11. One van and driver collect your consignment from an industrial unit, data centre or office and drive it directly to wherever it needs to be.
- M11 junctions 7 and 7A
- Data centre hardware handled with care
- Day, night and weekend collections

A typical day of Harlow consignments
Harlow was built as a new town with industry deliberately placed at its edges, and that pattern still shapes where courier work starts. Rather than describe the town in general terms, here is the kind of work a single day might bring.
- Early morning: a box of replacement servers collected from a supplier and taken to a data hall on Kao Park, where the operator has booked a goods-in slot for 7.00 am.
- Mid-morning: a pallet of packaging from a unit in Templefields, needed on a food production line near Cambridge before the afternoon shift.
- Lunchtime: signed contracts from an office in the town centre, going to a solicitor in the City of London.
- Afternoon: a cage of stock split between three shops in north London and Hertfordshire.
- Evening: a parcel for a freight agent at Stansted Airport, delivered landside before the agent's cut-off.
Each of these is a separate booking with its own van and driver. Nothing goes through a depot; the vehicle collects and drives directly to the delivery address, or follows the stops you have planned. When you call, we look for the nearest suitable vehicle and confirm an estimated collection time based on where it is.
Where the work comes from
Harlow's work comes mainly from the industrial areas at Templefields and the Pinnacles, the data centre campus in the Enterprise Zone on London Road, and the Princess Alexandra Hospital and clinics around it. Typical jobs are machine parts, pallets, site materials, server hardware and medical supplies.
Templefields and the Pinnacles
Templefields, in the north-east of the town along River Way and Edinburgh Way, is the oldest and largest of Harlow's industrial areas, with manufacturers, trade suppliers, printers and distribution units. The Pinnacles, on the western side, has a similar mix along Roydon Road and the roads off it. Urgent calls from both tend to be a part for a stopped machine, a pallet for a customer who cannot wait, or materials for a construction site elsewhere in Essex.
Data centres and technology
The Harlow Enterprise Zone, on London Road in the north-east of the town, includes the Kao Park data centre campus. Hardware moving to and from data centres needs careful loading, a named recipient and an exact delivery booking. Our IT equipment courier page explains how servers, storage and network equipment travel, including what packing we need from you.
Healthcare
The Princess Alexandra Hospital serves Harlow and the surrounding parts of Essex and Hertfordshire, with clinics and GP surgeries across the area. We carry medical equipment and supplies between sites, and properly packaged samples where the sender has prepared them to the required standard.

Moving goods into London
Central London is only about 25 miles down the M11, which makes Harlow a practical base for businesses supplying the capital. A dedicated van can reach a West End shop, a City office or a site in Docklands without the delays of a network. For several drops in one trip, our multi-drop courier service plans the sequence for you. For a single consignment against the clock, see urgent courier. Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges may apply inside London and are included in the price we agree before collection.
Roads, junctions and timings
Harlow has two motorway junctions. Junction 7, at the south-east corner of the town, connects the M11 with the A414 towards Chelmsford and Epping. Junction 7A, opened in 2022 off Gilden Way, gives the east of the town its own access and has taken pressure off the older junction. The A414 also runs west through the town towards Hertford, where it meets the A10.
The A414 approaches to junction 7 still queue at peak times, and the M11 itself slows between junction 6 and the M25 most weekday mornings. Our guide to organising time-critical business deliveries covers how to build sensible margins into a deadline.

FAQ
Common questions
We need replacement hardware delivered to a data hall at Kao Park tonight. Can you do an out-of-hours delivery?
Yes. We collect and deliver around the clock, including weekends. Data centres control access tightly, so arrange the delivery with the operator first: the driver needs a booking or ticket reference, the vehicle registration on the site list and the name of the person meeting the van at goods-in. Without those, the van can be held at the gate.
Can a van from Harlow restock several of our shops in north London in one trip?
Yes, as a multi-drop run. Give us the stops, the delivery windows for each shop and the quantity for each address, and we plan the order to suit loading and traffic. London Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges may apply depending on the route, and any that do are included in your quote.
Our company is on the Pinnacles estate. Can you collect a consignment for a customer in Cambridge before 5.00 pm?
Normally, yes. Cambridge is about 35 miles up the M11, so a collection by early afternoon usually leaves a comfortable margin. Tell us the delivery building and goods-in hours, because science park and university sites often stop receiving before the end of the office day.
Which way out of Harlow is quickest at rush hour?
It depends on the side of town. For units in the east, junction 7A at Gilden Way usually avoids the queues on the A414 approach to junction 7. Templefields and the Pinnacles in the north and west have quicker access to the A414 towards Hertford and the A10. We choose the route at the time of the job, using live traffic.
