We ask for rear access details and unloading arrangements at booking, and early or late collections often work best.
Roads out of Guildford
The A3 runs through Guildford on its way between London and Portsmouth, joining the M25 at junction 10 to the north-east. The A31 heads west along the Hog's Back towards Farnham and the M3, the A25 east to Dorking, the A281 south to Horsham, and the A320 north to Woking.
The A3 through the town queues at peak times, particularly at the junctions serving the university and hospital, and the gyratory slows everything in the centre. Further north, the M25 junction at Wisley is a well-known pinch point.

Our shop is on the cobbled part of the High Street. How does a collection work?
The upper High Street is cobbled, steep and restricted to vehicles for much of the day, so a van cannot always stop at the door. Tell us your opening times and whether you have rear access from a side street. Early-morning or evening collections, before or after the restrictions, are often simplest, and we work 24 hours a day. For anything heavy, say so at booking so the driver is not carrying it down the hill alone.
Can you move test equipment from the Surrey Research Park to a customer in Bristol today?
Yes. Bristol is roughly 110 miles from Guildford, usually via the M3 and A303 or round by the M25 and M4, and a morning collection arrives the same working day. Delicate instruments should be packed in their transit cases, with any orientation markings clear. Tell us the weight and dimensions, and whether a tail lift is needed at the other end, so we can send the right vehicle.
I am a student at the University of Surrey. Can you take my belongings home at the end of term?
Yes. We collect from halls or a student house and deliver to your home address in mainland UK, using a van sized to what you have. Pack everything in sealed boxes or suitcases, label each one with your name, and tell us roughly how many items there are. We are a games studio. Can you get development kits and a demo rig to a trade event in London?
Yes. Hardware like this is valuable and sometimes confidential, so it travels as a dedicated run with one driver and a named recipient at the venue. Send the exhibitor pack details, including the venue's delivery slot and entrance, and tell us how many cases and how heavy they are. If the stand also needs returning after the event, we can book the collection at the same time.
How do deliveries to the Royal Surrey County Hospital work?
The hospital is on Egerton Road, on the western side of town next to the research park. Deliveries go to the department or receiving point your contact names, so include the building, the ward or department and a phone number for the person signing. Clinical samples must be packaged by the sender before collection. If the goods need to stay chilled, a refrigerated van can be booked and the range agreed with you.
